2026 four-star linebacker, Anthony Davis Jr. is down to five schools.
The four-star confirmed his list of finalists are Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Michigan and Ole Miss.
Davis Jr. has official visits scheduled to Auburn, Ole Miss, Michigan, and Alabama. The product of Grayson High School (GA) will visit the Crimson Tide from June 20-22.
Davis Jr. spoke to Touchdown Alabama several months ago at the Under Armour Camp in Atlanta.
He spoke highly of Alabama when asked about his thoughts on the program.
“They are a great program,” Davis said. “Bama is Bama. They win, they put guys in the league.”
Davis Jr. plays the outside linebacker position which could be an area of need for the Crimson Tide in 2025. He mentioned feeling like he would fit in the Crimson Tide’s defensive scheme.
“They have a great defense,” Davis told Touchdown Alabama. “They run a great scheme. The linebackers are great. Linebackers play very fast and my style. They are great.”
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound outside linebacker is a nimble player who can affect the game from sideline to sideline or inside the box. He has the potential to play multiple positions at the college level.
As a junior, Davis Jr. finished the season with 105 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and three sacks.
