After two long years of waiting behind Quinn Ewers its officially Arch Manning's show in Austin.
And while he's only gotten brief chances to flash his potential over the past couple seasons, that hasn't stopped the Heisman hype train from running off the tracks heading into the 2025 campaign.
That's something Arch was asked about during his appearance at SEC Media Days on Tuesday — and the junior QB knows he has a lot of work to do before he can call himself one of the nation's best players.
"I'm not sure how they get these opinions, I've only played what, two games," Manning said. "It's nice of them to say, but it doesn't mean anything. Talk is cheap, I gotta go prove it."

Fans were loving the young man's response online.
"Solid kid," a user replied.
"I love his attitude. Well rounded young man. I'm a VFL but I'm a fan," another commented.
"Spoken 'like a Manning,'" another person said. "Honorable family."
"Oh he already got the perfect attitude," a fan pointed out.
"And you WILL!" another user exclaimed.
"What a guy."
There are high expectations at UT this year (and every year). But with this kind of attitude Arch should be able to take them in stride.
He'll make his first start as QB1 on the road against the defending champion Buckeyes on August 30. So we'll find out pretty quickly how ready he is to put the country on notice.
