Carson Beck and Hanna Cavinder Hit with Devastating Thursday Morning News

Miami Hurricanes quarterback Carson Beck and basketball star Hanna Cavinder are among the two poster children of the NIL era in college athletics. The couple has risen to stardom over the past couple of years, first at Georgia and Miami and now both with the Hurricanes. They used their name, image, and likeness to amass fortunes during college.

However, one of the downsides of having this money at a young age is the target that it puts on your back. Beck and Cavinder felt that reality on Thursday morning when they reportedly woke up to find that a handful of their expensive vehicles had been stolen.

According to Andy Slater, Beck had two cars stolen — a $300K Lamborghini Urus Performante and a Mercedes — while Cavinder's SUV was lifted as well.

The SUV was ultimately found, per the report, but police are still searching for the Lamborghini and Mercedes.

Beck reportedly bought the Lamborghini last February, but it's unclear when the Mercedes was added to his garage. Earlier this offseason, the former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback was expected to enter the 2025 NFL Draft, but he decided to withdraw his name from the pool and enter the transfer portal instead. Beck landed with the Hurricanes in an NIL deal that has been reported to be worth $4 million.

Meanwhile, Cavinder has been viewed as one of the top NIL earners in all of college athletics over the past few years. In 2022, Forbes reported that Hanna and her twin sister Haley had made upwards of $2 million in NIL deals, and that number has only continued to climb since then.
