Veteran reporter Erin Andrews has firmly established herself as one of the top names in the entire NFL. The Fox Sports broadcaster has been around for more than two decades, having started as a correspondent for ESPN in 2004. She made the move to Fox Sports in 2012, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Right now, Andrews is part of the network’s A-team for NFL broadcasts. She’s their top sideline reporter alongside Tom Rinaldi, seven-time Super Bowl winner turned analyst Tom Brady and legendary play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt.
On Tuesday, Andrews took to social media to make an announcement related to the NFL — one she considers close to her heart.
Andrews, 47, is married to former Los Angeles Kings player Jarret Stoll. In 2023, around seven years after she overcame cervical cancer, Andrews welcomed baby son Mack, who is now two years old.
Having a son of her own, kids are dear to her heart. This is exactly why she decided to support an eight-year-old girl from Tennessee who is currently battling a blood disorder. Andrews is doing so through the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats program, raising awareness and funds to support the young girl’s battle.
"This year, #MyCauseMyCleats are in support of @stjude! My shoes were designed in collaboration with Bailey, an 8-year-old in Tennessee treated at St. Jude for Sickle Cell Disease.
"Please consider donating to this wonderful cause, where families never receive a bill, so they can focus on helping their child survive," Andrews posted on Instagram, along with a donor link.
Andrews posted photos of a pair of custom-designed Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. It is splattered with random paint strokes in lavender and purple. The Nike swoosh is pearl-encrusted, while the lilac-toned laces mimic a yarn-like texture. The pair also features the St. Jude logo right above Bailey’s name.
The NFL’s My Cause My Cleats campaign provides players, coaches, staff and even broadcasters the opportunity to support their chosen causes and nonprofit organizations through creatively designed cleats.
Andrews has rallied behind the program in the past, and this year, she’s decided to use her platform to support Bailey’s plight.
