After two minutes of stoppage time, the referee blows his whistle to bring the first half to an end. It has been an utterly dominating performance from Germany, who have had six shots on target, and should have had more than one goal. For now, Undav’s goal is the difference.
What a chance for Germany to double their lead!! It’s a swift move from the Nationalelf in the Finnish box, with Musiala laying it off for Karl on the right, who plays a low cross first time that finds Brown in the middle. The full-back tries to find the bottom corner but drags his shot wide.
Third time’s the charm for Undav, who finally finds the back of the net to put Germany ahead!! It comes from a corner won by Karl, which Kimmich takes quickly. The ball towards the far corner is met by Undav, who heads it past Hradecky.
Another golden opportunity for Undav, but the German forward can not capitalise on it. Musisala played a perfect through pass which finds the run of Undav, but Hradecky comes out and makes himself big to deny the striker.
Another regulation save from Hradecky, this time denying Wirtz. The Liverpool man got at the end of the loose ball and pulled the trigger, but the shot is straight at the goalkeeper, who scoops it up easily.
The match is almost entirely being played in the vicinity of Finland’s penalty area. Brown finds himself in a good position in the box, but his cross is blocked. The resulting corner is put out to touch by Kimmich.
A brilliant save from Hradecky to deny Undav!! The Stuttgart forward was found by a low cross from Brown, and he takes a decent first-time shot that is destined for the back of the goal. It takes a slight touch off the defender before Hradecky makes a stunning save.
It has been a brilliant start by Germany, who are pressing ahead in numbers, pushing Finland deep into their own half. Looks like it’s going to be a long night for the visitors the way the match has started.
After the national anthems, the players take their position on the pitch. Germany, in their away green kit, take the kick off and get tonight’s friendly match underway.
