University of Louisville field hockey player, India Reed, has been recognized for her outstanding performance this season. The National Field Hockey Coaches Association named Reed to their Senior Team, an honor that highlights her skill and talent on the field. 

Reed, a redshirt senior defender from Louisville, Kentucky, has been an essential part of Louisville’s defensive unit. The team boasts a remarkable 1.08 goals against average and has recorded six shutouts throughout the season, which places them among the top five teams in the nation. Reed, who served as co-captain, has contributed significantly to the team’s success.

This season, the 10th-ranked Cardinals achieved a 15-7 overall record, including a 3-3 mark in ACC play. They reached the semifinals of the conference championship and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament. Reed’s leadership and defensive prowess were integral in the team’s achievements.
