Shedeur Sanders has yet to play in the regular season, but his popularity among fans continues to rise. Sanders, who was the emergency quarterback in the Cleveland Browns' opening loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, received some interesting news this week.
Sanders was listed as fifth on the highest NFL jersey sales from March 1 through July 31, 2025. He is behind only Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and three quarterbacks: Jalen Hurts, Jayden Daniels and Josh Allen.
The news was posted Monday with the following caption: "Shedeur Sanders and Cooper DeJean managed to sell more jerseys than Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson between the months of March and July."

The former Colorado Buffaloes signal-caller, and son of head coach Deion Sanders, was ahead of some really good NFL players. At No. 6 was second-year player Cooper DeJean. DeJean played for the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, making three players from the same team in the top six.
At No. 7 was the big talk, as Patrick Mahomes moved down the list. The first update of 2025 year through February, saw Mahomes second on the list. It was also a surprise to see Sanders, who has yet to play, ahead of what many consider the face of the league in Mahomes.
The rest of the top 10 features two quarterbacks and a running back. Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens was 8th, while Bo Nix, following his strong rookie season with the Denver Broncos, came in at No. 9. The final player in the top 10 is Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs.
Sanders and his Cleveland Browns will go on the road for Week 2 to face the Baltimore Ravens. Mahomes and the Chiefs have a Super Bowl rematch in Week 2 against the Philadelphia Eagles. This is the home opener for the Chiefs.
