Julian Reese, a standout player for the Maryland Terrapins, has been selected to participate in the prestigious 71st Annual Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (P.I.T.). This event, which gathers the nation’s top college seniors, serves as a platform for players to showcase their skills in front of professional scouts, agents, and fans.

Reese’s selection highlights his impressive collegiate career, where he became one of only two players in Maryland’s history to achieve over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.

During his four years at Maryland, Reese played in 134 games, starting in 102 of them, and recorded 1,488 points, 1,015 rebounds, and 179 blocks. His senior season was particularly remarkable, as he averaged 13.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game, helping Maryland reach the NCAA Sweet 16 for the first time since 2016.

Reese’s consistent performance earned him three All-Big Ten Honorable Mention selections, making him one of the program’s most decorated players.

Reese’s participation in this four-day tournament provided him with an opportunity to further impress scouts and potentially boost his professional basketball prospects.
