Tommy Fleetwood secured his inaugural PGA Tour victory at the Tour Championship, ending a long winless streak.

Fleetwood finished three shots clear of Russell Henley and Patrick Cantlay to secure the title.

His win also came with a big payday – $10 million and the FedExCup trophy – pushing him up the PGA Tour money list.

The tournament concluded both the FedExCup Playoffs and the regular season. However, Fleetwood’s 2025 schedule is not yet complete.

Currently, the Ryder Cup is on his agenda, as Fleetwood is slated to represent Team Europe at Bethpage Black.

Fleetwood shared a message on Instagram, saying: “This chapter of my life is closed now, it was called ‘The First PGA Tour win…

“Thank you to everyone who supported me from the bottom of my heart, it means so much. I’m honestly so excited to get back to work and the next chapter! See you at Wentworth.”

The 2025 BMW PGA Championship, running from September 9-14, is expected to draw a strong field to Wentworth Club in Surrey.

Fleetwood faced his own challenges before breaking through with that win at East Lake.

The Englishman had a consistent season too, with his only missed cut coming at the US Open. The 34-year-old looked comfortable throughout 2025 on both sides of the Atlantic.
