Simone Biles continues to expand her brand well beyond the gymnastics floor.
The 29-year-old stands alone as the most decorated artistic gymnast in history. She owns 11 Olympic medals and 30 World Championship medals.
Global sports charity and awards organization Laureus has long recognized her dominance. The organization has honored her four times as its Sportswoman of the Year.
Now, Biles is deepening that relationship. The gymnastics icon celebrated a new partnership with the organization that has consistently championed her achievements.
She is adding another milestone to her unprecedented legacy. For Biles, the partnership represents more than recognition.
Biles will attend the 2026 Laureus World Sports Awards on Monday as a newly minted Ambassador. The gymnastics icon heads to Cibeles Palace in Madrid for the annual ceremony.
Laureus announced the news on Tuesday via Instagram.
"See you soon, Simone ✨
"Delighted that 2025 Laureus World Sportswoman of Year and new Laureus Ambassador, Simone Biles will be with us in Madrid for this year’s Laureus World Sports Awards," the announcement post read.
Biles was named a Laureus Ambassador in late February. She launched her new role with a visit to Milan, where she toured Polisportiva Garegnano. The Laureus-supported project offers gymnastics and multisport programming for children and young people. Its focus centers on building confidence, resilience and life skills through sport, particularly for girls.
On the Laureus website, Biles spoke to the significance of the partnership.
"Laureus has played a meaningful role in my journey for many years, and I am incredibly proud to have been honoured four times as Laureus Sportswoman of the Year, including at last year's Awards in Madrid, which was an unforgettable night for me," Biles said. "Today I am just as proud to be joining Laureus as an Ambassador. I am honoured to help support Laureus as I share the big idea at the heart of everything Laureus does: that sport has the power to change the world."
Biles last competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics, claiming four medals. Her Laureus Ambassador role defines the next chapter of a legacy beyond gymnastics.
