Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell brought the crowd in Anaheim to its feet on multiple occasions over the weekend, robbing three Mariners of home runs to lead our Calls Of The Weekend.

Adell Does It Again…And Again

After robbing Cal Raleigh of his first home run of 2026 in the first inning Saturday at Angel Stadium, Adell denied Josh Naylor a game-tying homer in the eighth, but saved his best performance for the ninth. Still clinging to that 1-0 lead, J.P. Crawford unloaded on a Jordan Romano offering down the right field line. But Adell would not be denied, leaping into the air and snagging the baseball before tumbling over the wall and into the crowd.

Nick Yorke Gives Pittsburgh A Fourth Straight Victory Called By Greg Brown

The Pirates may have the best young team you haven’t heard of outside of Paul Skenes and Konnor Griffin. Nick Yorke showed some of that off on Saturday, as his RBI double in the bottom of the ninth gave Pittsburgh a fourth consecutive win and a “Raise The Jolly Roger” from broadcaster Greg Brown.
