Almora wanted to clear the air about the image at the White House. Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago Cubs visited President Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday, and one picture gave a lot of people the impression outfielder Albert Almora flipped him off while in the Oval Office.

Here’s the picture that got people talking.

However, Almora strongly denies he was doing anything of the sort.

“I had two fingers out,” he said, per the Chicago Sun-Times. “I’d never do that to the president of the United States.”

Indeed. If you look closely, Almora’s index finger is visible, even though it doesn’t look like it at first glance. Apparently, Almora’s teammates gave him a pretty hard time about the whole thing, which is to be expected.
