The Atlanta Braves are having an underwhelming start to their 2025 season.
With a record of 24-25, they are sitting one game under a .500 winning percentage and are 7.5 games behind the Philadelphia Phillies for first place in the NL East.
Some sad roster news has continued to destroy the Braves in the first portion of the season, but they are starting to recover.
After a shaky return from a month-long hamstring injury, Spencer Strider has returned to the Braves.
Now, after their loss to the Washington Nationals on Thursday, the Braves have received some of the best news they could have gotten.
Before their three-game series against the San Diego Padres begins on Friday, 2023 NL MVP and Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr. will be making his return to Atlanta's lineup.
"La Bestia is BACK," the Braves posted to X on Thursday night.

Acuna Jr. has been out of the Braves lineup since tearing his ACL in a game against the Pittsburgh Pirates in May of 2024.
Nearly a year later, the Braves franchise star will be making his return, and it couldn't be at a better time.
After beginning his rehab assignment just nine days ago on May 13, it seems as if manager Brian Snitker has seen enough and is ready to implement him into the Braves' lineup.
The Braves' star outfielder has been one of the best players in baseball since making his debut in 2018.
His best season came in 2023 – the season he won the NL MVP and led all of Major League Baseball in stolen bases with 73.
He also finished with a .337 batting average, .416 on-base percentage, .596 slugging percentage, and a 1.012 OPS while hitting 41 home runs, 106 RBIs that season.
