It’s time for the Milwaukee Brewers to see action in the 2025 MLB playoffs. Their postseason journey begins this Saturday, as they host the Chicago Cubs at American Family Field in Milwaukee for Game 1 of a National League Division Series matchup.
The Brewers, who earned the top seed in the National League by winning 97 games in the regular season, are expected to give the ball to Freddy Peralta. The 29-year-old right-hander went 17-6 with a 2.70 ERA in 2025. As for the Cubs, they will send Matthew Boyd to the mound. Boyd, 34, was 14-8 with a 3.21 ERA in the regular season.

On Friday, Milwaukee’s social media team added to the excitement for the upcoming series opener versus the Cubs.
