The first two games of the ALDS series between the Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Yankees have been dominated by Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
On Saturday, Toronto rolled to a 10-1 victory and followed it up with a 13-7 win on Sunday, taking a commanding 2-0 series lead—just one win away from advancing to the ALCS.
Guerrero has been outstanding all season for Toronto, batting .292 with 172 hits, 23 home runs, and 84 RBIs, while maintaining a .467 slugging percentage and an .848 OPS.
In just two postseason games, the 26-year-old has already totaled six hits in nine at-bats with six RBIs and two home runs, including a grand slam in Game 2 that electrified the Toronto crowd.

Voting is now open ️☑️
Congratulations poured in for the pair, who are now finalists for an award given to the best offensive performer in each league.
"Grats goats!" A fan said.
Someone else added, "CONGRATS."

"Let’s all vote for George and Vladimir," one more fan commented.
The Blue Jays edged out the Yankees in the regular season finale to claim the AL East division title, a win that carried significant importance. Not only did it allow them to avoid a Best-of-3 Wild Card series, but it also gave them the chance to rest while watching the Yankees battle the Red Sox.
On Tuesday, Toronto will send Shane Bieber to the mound at Yankee Stadium, while New York will be fighting for its season with Carlos Rodón starting.
Toronto is still without star infielder Bo Bichette, who was left off the ALDS roster due to a knee sprain. Despite that, the Blue Jays have managed to score 23 runs across the first two games—enough to make a strong statement heading into Game 3.
