The Los Angeles Dodgers begin a six-game road trip starting with a visit to the Big Apple, where they’ll face off against the New York Mets.

It’s the first meeting between the two clubs since the 2024 National League Championship Series when the Dodgers won in six games.

Each team has made key reinforcements to their roster since last season, most notably with the Mets signing Juan Soto to a historic 15-year contract.

The Dodgers, meanwhile, added Blake Snell, Roki Sasaki, Tanner Scott and Kirby Yates to fortify their pitching, but all except for Scott are on the injured list.

Both clubs are playing well this season, with the Dodgers sitting at 31-19 while the Mets are just behind them at 30-20. Both teams are also 5-5 in their last 10 games.

The Dodgers have a +62 run differential this year, and the Mets are just behind them at +56.

“We’re going to have a good test coming up on the road,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. “The Mets are playing as good of baseball from the beginning of the season to now as anyone, and they’re going to want to get a little revenge.

“I’m sure that they’re going to come out. The fans will be out, it’s going to be crazy. I expect us to play well, but it starts with starting pitching. But to build a little momentum, I feel like we’re in a good spot right now.”
