Kamieniecki was an All-Big Ten Conference first team and All-Big Ten Tournament selection in 1984 and was a 1986 co-captain with Casey Close, who was inducted in the Cape Hall of Fame last year. Kamieniecki also had 16 career complete games for the Wolverines, putting him fourth in the school's record book.
