Back in the middle of August, WFAN radio personality and host Gregg Giannotti openly wondered if the "Narco" song used by New York Mets closer Edwin Diaz that was a viral hit and featured in an Internet challenge at that time had become "played out."
At least one company is hoping that isn't the case.
As explained by the Metsmerized Online website, manufacturer FOCO has created a special Edwin Diaz bobblehead. The product shows Diaz completing his typical casual jog toward the mound and, more importantly for those interested, plays a clip of "Narco" at the push of a button:

Metsmerized Online points out that FOCO has released multiple Mets-related bobbleheads during the 2022 MLB season.
"CUE THE TRUMPETS! Play Diaz's electrifying entrance music with the press of a button on the base," reads the FOCO description for the Diaz bobblehead. "In Queens, when the trumpets blare, that means 'opposing hitters beware!' This Edwin Diaz New York Mets Cue the Trumpets Entrance Music Bobblehead plays Diaz's iconic entrance music, so we hope you're ready to crank the volume and conduct your very own shutdown symphony."
This item retails for $75.
Thus far, the extra attention Diaz has received this summer hasn't impacted his on-the-bump performances. Per ESPN stats, the 28-year-old began Friday's action tied for fourth in all of MLB with 29 saves. He's posted a 1.52 ERA and 0.90 WHIP with 101 strikeouts across 53.1 innings of work.

Diaz has also earned the "official" right to be the only player to use "Narco" inside MLB ballparks, but he'll be looking to hoist multiple physical trophies later this fall.
