The Philadelphia Phillies are 4-7 in June, and designated hitter/outfielder Kyle Schwarber is one of the main reasons why. The 32-year-old is slashing just .143/.250/.357 with three homers and seven RBI over that stretch.
Schwarber's hot start is the reason why he still has some of the best power-hitting numbers in baseball. The 5-foot-11-inch, 229-pounder is fourth in the league with 22 homers, ninth with 50 RBI, and eighth with a .929 OPS across 69 games.
On Saturday, Phillies manager Rob Thomson revealed a lineup change he's considering to help get Schwarber out of his slump, via The Athletic's Charlotte Varnes.
"Rob Thomson said Kyle Schwarber may play outfield soon so Nick Castellanos can DH and get off his feet a bit," she reported.
Castellanos is slashing .275/.326/.475 with two homers and two RBI in June. The 33-year-old usually plays right field.

Philadelphia is coming off an 8-0 win over the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday. Southpaw pitcher Ranger Suarez (5-1, 2.32 ERA) tossed seven shutout innings, and the Phillies totaled 10 hits.
Philadelphia is 4-6 in its last 10 games and is 4.5 games behind the New York Mets for first place in the NL East. The club's run differential is plus-25, lagging behind the Mets' mark of plus-93.
The Phillies would clinch a series win with another victory over the Blue Jays at home on Saturday afternoon. Southpaw Cristopher Sanchez (5-2, 3.10 ERA) will start on the mound for them against Toronto right-hander Bowden Francis (2-8, 6.12 ERA).
