The Toronto Blue Jays have shot up the standings over the last two weeks. That is because of the strong performance of their offense. Toronto is 13-2 over that stretch of games. They are averaging nearly 6 runs per game over their last 15 contests. Even though a shutout loss last night put a damper on the team’s offense, they have experienced great success at the plate. Will the Toronto Blue Jays offense continue performing well?

Toronto’s recent form has them in second place in the American League East at 38-31. They also occupy the top spot in the AL wild-card picture. The Blue Jays have been powered by their offense in 2025. They are fifth in the league in batting average, 19th in home runs, and 16th in runs scored. Catcher Alejandro Kirk is fifth in the league in batting average.
The team’s pitching staff has been middling in 2025. They are 21st in ERA , 13th in opposing batting average, and 12th in WHIP. Starting Pitcher Chris Bassitt is sixth in the league in wins. Toronto’s statistics showcase a mediocre team. They have found ways to win games though.
The Toronto Blue Jays return to the diamond this evening for the middle game of their three-game set against the Philadelphia Phillies. If Toronto’s offense can continue playing this well, wins will follow.
