The San Diego Padres made a few more roster cuts Monday. In a post on X, the Padres revealed that infielder/outfielder Trenton Brooks, infielder Mike Brosseau, and infielder/outfielder Clay Dungan were all reassigned to minor league camp.
The Padres were dormant for much of the offseason but sprang to life recently. In the past week, they’ve bolstered the pitching staff with Nick Pivetta and Kyle Hart, as well as bringing Jason Heyward and Connor Joe into the position player mix.
