On Thursday, November 28, Thanksgiving rolled around and fighters inside and outside the United States celebrated the national holiday.
Thanksgiving is the perfect time to show that you're thankful for those around you while filling your stomach with some seasonal foods. As they do each and every year, UFC fighters enjoyed the occasion, posting about their day to fans on social media.
Leading the way for UFC fighters on Thanksgiving was former interim welterweight champion Colby Covington. Like the true patriot he is, Covington headed to The Trump Estate at Mar-A-Lago and broke bread with fellow Trump enthusiasts Elon Musk and Sylvester Stallone.

Thanksgiving is often a great time for fighters to put their tough, gritty job to the back of their minds for the time being.
That was the case for several UFC stars who jumped at the opportunity to spend time with their families this holiday season.

For some, Thanksgiving is a tough time, especially when they have a fight approaching.
Aljamain Sterling led the way, insisting that while he cannot indulge in the food, he will be eating when he competes at UFC 310 on December 7.
Happy Thanksgiving! I’ll be eating next weekend

I AM SOOO HUNGRY. I’m salivating at the thought of all the food that’s going to be on the table today.
Chestnut sourdough stuffing, my mom’s pearled onions, warm dinner rolls, desserts galore… I’ve been fantasizing all week. pic.twitter.com/8gLlUy7WMR

Jon Jones had a different outlook on the celebrations.
Instead of thinking about spending time with family and friends to be grateful for what he has in life, Jones preferred to focus on getting better and staying disciplined—which is why he is one of the greatest to ever do it.
While you’re enjoying the day, eating junk, blazing up, and grinding on video games. Just remember: your competition probably put in some sort of work today and is already scheming how to conquer 2025. Food for thought… Success isn’t luck; it’s a decision and the discipline to…
