Arguably one of the greatest MMA fighters ever, Conor McGregor currently finds himself recovering from his recent ACL injury . A few months ago, McGregor made his 5-year-long UFC return against Max Holloway.

However, a few minutes into the match, McGregor injured his ACL and was ruled out of the fight, resulting in Holloway getting the win. Now undergone surgery and recovery, McGregor finds himself very active on social media.

In a recent post on X (formerly known as Twitter), McGregor opened up about his UFC career and discussed the reasons behind his success. “I’m not talented. I’m obsessed. They see the walkouts and the knockouts. They don’t see the work — the early mornings, the setbacks, the decision to show up when quitting would have been easier. I didn’t wait to feel ready. I decided to become ready. Back yourself. Do the work. Be obsessed,” he wrote.

A few days ago, McGregor opened up about the role of his family in his career and dedicated a heartwarming message to them. “I’ve got my own goals. But I do this for the people I love, too. I want them to feel it in how I show up for them, not just see it in what I achieve. Whoever your people are, give them something real today. Your time. Your attention. Do one thing that makes their day better. Back yourself. Do the work. For them,” McGregor wrote.

As of now, there are no confirmed updates on McGregor’s return to the cage, although is expected to comeback in 2027 and have his last UFC fight, before moving onto a different career path.
