Reinier de Ridder stopped Roman Dolidze in the first round at UFC Sacramento on Saturday, ending a two-fight skid that had him on the edge of title contention.
The Dutch light heavyweight finished Dolidze with ground strikes late in the opening frame, per MMA Mania. A third consecutive loss would have been the longest drought of de Ridder's career and dropped him further from championship talks.
In the main event, Gregory Rodrigues outlasted Anthony Hernandez across five rounds to earn a unanimous decision and a $100,000 post-fight bonus. MMA Mania reported that Rodrigues battered Hernandez's legs with kicks throughout the 25-minute fight, extending his winning streak to four.
Hernandez, who lost to Sean Strickland in his previous outing, absorbed the punishment but dropped his second straight. The defeat halts what had been an eight-fight unbeaten run from 2021 to 2025.
Vitor Petrino also won by decision over Serghei Spivac in the co-main event. Rodrigues will move up the middleweight rankings; Hernandez faces mounting pressure heading into his next bout.
