Live coverage of Saturday’s card begins with the prelims at 3 pm ET/ noon PT. Inside the United States, the card will be seen via ESPN+. Main card action caps the evening at 6 pm ET/ 3 pm PT.
Should there be no adjustments to the schedule between now and Saturday night, the final version of this week’s card features a total of 14 fights.
At the top of the bill on Saturday night, one of only two all-ranked matchups on the evening will take place at featherweight. No. 2 contender Diego Lopes (26-7 MMA, 5-2 UFC) meets No. 10 contender Jean Silva (16-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC.) This is a five-round fight at five minutes per round to close out the show.
Lopes will be making the walk on Saturday night with a record of 4-1 in his last five fights. Last time out, he saw a five-fight winning streak get snapped at the hands of Alexander Volkanovski (27-4 MMA, 14-3 UFC) during the UFC 314 main event from Miami on April 12.
He’s right on the cusp of another shot at the UFC Featherweight Championship. A win in Noche UFC this coming weekend could give him the chance to claim the title.
Meanwhile, Jean Silva also fought on UFC 314 this past spring, scoring a second-round submission by way of ninja choke vs. Bryce Mitchell in Miami. He’s currently sporting a 5-0 record since joining the UFC’s active roster and has won 13 fights consecutively.
When a fighter is on a hot streak, as Jean Silva is right now, he’s at his most dangerous. Can he score a victory against the No. 2 contender in the division?
Immediately beforehand, the bantamweights take to the cage when No. 9 contender Rob Font (22-8 MMA, 12-7 UFC) collides with David Martinez (12-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC.) This is a three-round contest at five minutes per round.
Font enters Noche UFC on Saturday evening with a record of 3-2 in his past five appearances. He’s won two fights in a row, including a split decision victory over Jean Matsumoto (17-1 MMA, 3-1 UFC) on Feb. 22 during UFC Seattle at Climate Pledge Arena.
This is a seasoned veteran of the sport. Saturday’s Noche UFC co-main event serves as his 20th career appearance. We may be looking at a changing of the guard, especially since Font is battling a rookie opponent.
Across the way, David Martinez has posted a mark of 5-0 in his last five fights as part of an ongoing seven-fight winning streak. He’ll be the replacement for Font’s originally-scheduled opponent, Raul Rosas Jr., who had to withdraw from Noche UFC due to a rib injury he suffered in training camp in late August.
David Martinez has seen two different bouts fizzle out on Saturday night’s card. A fight between Martinez and Carlos Vera failed to materialize, as did a contest matching Martinez with Quang Le.
Le was, however, rebooked to fight Santiago Luna on Saturday night. If David Martinez is able to beat a ranked adversary on Saturday night in Noche UFC, it’ll be a tremendous resume-builder.
Also on the Noche UFC main card, you’ll be seeing a lightweight contest between Rafa Garcia (17-4 MMA, 5-4 UFC) and Jared Gordon (21-7, 1 NC MMA, 9-6, 1 NC UFC.) Garcia will enter San Antonio this weekend with a mark of 3-2 in his last five contests.
Back on March 29, he scored a unanimous decision victory over Vinc Pichel (14-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC) in Mexico City. Pichel stepped into fight Garcia after Joaquim Silva withdrew from UFC Mexico City before fight night.
Noche UFC is Garcia’s 10th appearance in the organization. Can he secure his second win in a row?
In the other corner, Jared Gordon has gone 2-2 with one no-contest in his last five bouts. On May 17, he trekked to the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, NV and finished Thiago Moises (19-9 MMA, 8-7 UFC) with a first-round knockout. Inactivity has been problematic for the Gordon camp thus far in 2025.
Two planned contests on Feb. 15 were postponed without a single punch thrown. Both Kaue Fernandes and Mashrabjon Ruziboev withdrew from the Apex card last winter.
Thus, Saturday’s fight is only his second of the year in the UFC. What will this weekend’s contest bring?
Which fight or fights are you looking forward to on Noche UFC’s main card?
