Denny Hamlin Hits Jackpots in Tennessee on Similar Machine He Won Big in Las Vegas

Denny Hamlin is on a roll both on and off the race track. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has won the last two NASCAR Cup Series races at Martinsville Speedway and Darlington Raceway. On Saturday, he qualified fourth for Sunday’s race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Hours later, the three-time Daytona 500 champ went to try his luck at a casino. Unsurprisingly, he sat down at a similar type of slot machine where he found incredible success last month in Las Vegas winning $330,000 in two different jackpots.

Hamlin’s Instagram account included a couple of clips of the 44-year-old sitting at a similar Buffalo-themed machine inside a casino.

“We meet again,” the title reads as the first video shows the jackpot climbing to winnings of more than $3,700 and ends with the driver shrugging his shoulders.

A second clip posted an hour later shows him hitting a jackpot again and cuts off at winnings over $1,400. That makes his combined total earnings from the two wins at just over $5,000.

It’s certainly not the same level of massive haul like he achieved in Sin City, but still a win considering those same videos also showed he had spent $100.

As they say — some guys have all the luck. This marks the third time that Hamlin has had good fortune on his side in a very big way. At Phoenix in 2022 after the fall race, he hit five of six numbers in the $2 billion Powerball, which translated to winning $50,000.

Hamlin will see if his good fortune continues at the track on Sunday as he's trying to win three in a row at Bristol. Race coverage starts at 3 p.m. ET on FS1.
