
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was the fastest driver in NASCAR Cup Series practice at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon.
Stenhouse Jr. topped the speed charts with a fastest lap of 15.403 seconds around the half-mile oval. Noah Gragson, Austin Cindric, Erik Jones and Bubba Wallace rounded out the top five, with Michael McDowell, Connor Zilisch, Ty Gibbs, AJ Allmendinger and Kyle Larson completed the top 10.
Other notable practice results include Ryan Blaney in 15th, Alex Bowman in 16th in his return to the No. 48, Kyle Busch in 17th, Joey Logano in 20th and points leader Tyler Reddick in 21st. 2025 Bristol fall race winner Christopher Bell was 23rd.
Knoxville, Tennessee, native Chad Finchum was slowest of the 37 drivers to make laps in practice with a fastest lap of 15.746 seconds.
Gragson had the best consecutive 10-lap average in the session with an average speed of 123.519 miles per hour. Blaney, Hocevar, Todd Gilliland and Bowman completed the top five.
Cup Series qualifying is next on Prime Video. The Food City 500 at Bristol will go green shortly after 3 p.m. ET Sunday, with coverage on FS1, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
