The Oklahoma City Thunder capped off their dominant season last year with a championship and they are set to enter the 2025-26 NBA season as the title favorite once again.

Of course, the Thunder have had a quiet offseason due to them having their core returning this season, though they did make three major decisions regarding their star trio.

Oklahoma City signed Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams to max contract extensions, locking up their big three for the foreseeable future.

Because of this, the Thunder will enter this season as the title favorite and they will likely continue to be through the next handful of seasons.

While the Thunder are looking to win back-to-back title this season, they could elect to make moves ahead of the trade deadline and if they do, these three players could be potential trade candidates.

Isaiah Joe

Isaiah Joe has played a key role off the bench for the Thunder over the past three seasons due to his 3-point shooting.

Last season, the 26-year-old forward put together the best season of his career as he averaged a career-high 10.2 points per game.

Despite this, Oklahoma City could look to move Joe this season due to their abundance of guard depth, though it is unlikely that they will do so.

Jaylin Williams

The Thunder signed Jaylin Williams to a three-year contract extension this offseason after he put together arguably the best season of his young NBA career last year.

While that may be the case, the Thunder have a ton of depth at the frontcourt position and they could look to move the 23-year-old center this season.

Despite this, Oklahoma City will likely keep Williams around as he has been a key player off the bench for them during his career.

Kenrich Williams

Kenrich Williams is the second-oldest player on Oklahoma City’s roster outside of Alex Caruso and he has played a key role for them off the bench over the last five seasons.

Last season, the 30-year-old big man played a large role off the bench for the Thunder, especially while Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein were sidelined with injuries and he also is a leader in the locker room.

While that may be the case, Oklahoma City could look to move the veteran big man this season due their abundance of frontcourt depth, though it is likely that they will keep him around.

For the Thunder, they could elect to make changes to their roster ahead of the trade deadline but it would not be a surprise to see them keep their current core together as they try to win their second consecutive championship.
