LeBron James has been taking everyone by surprise with his incredible physical conditioning. Playing in the NBA at 41 years of age is not a joke. And he is doing it with utmost finesse. Dropping some impressive moves, the Akron-born still has the ability to make the crowd go crazy . Adding to LeBron lore further, James’ former Los Angeles Lakers teammate, Andrew Drummond, had a stunning story to share.

“I remember one game, I over helped with somebody in the corner and he was like don’t f---ing go out there that mans shooting 32% from 3 go up to the top… I said how the f--- do you know what people shoot percentage wise?” said Drummond (video here; warning: viewer discretion advised).

Surely, having such basketball knowledge can only mean one thing. The player is destined to be a legend. Thankfully for Drummond, he had the privilege to rub shoulders with the 22-time NBA All-Star. Back in 2021, the 32-year-old star joined the Lakers. Starting for the purple and gold brigade, Drummond played 21 games as the team secured a playoff spot.

Meanwhile, this was not the first time the Philadelphia 76ers star had spoken highly of James. Back in 2024, Drummond opened up on his feelings about sharing the locker room with a legend.

Owing to his incredible basketball ability, the four-time NBA champion has drawn countless comparisons throughout his career. Recently, Rich Paul compared the NBA legend with Muhammad Ali. However, in 2024, the 2-time NBA All-Star expressed his excitement about playing alongside James.

Detailing his time with the Lakers, Drummond said, “I wasn’t losing my mind, but I was like, ‘Damn, this is kind of dope.’ I’m on the same team with somebody who’s the face of the league, and I’ve been watching him since I was 7/8 years old, so the dude is a workaholic.”

Thus, it is evident that the 41-year-old is still very much in the spotlight. Now, amid much speculation about his NBA future, fans would like to see what happens next.
