The Chicago Bulls begun their two-game road trip in Florida on Thursday night, taking on the Orlando Magic. The Bulls beat the Magic 125-123 behind a career night from Coby White.
The Bulls were missing the usual suspects as of late due to injury. No Lonzo Ball, Nikola Vucevic, and Patrick Williams for this game. Tre Jones started his second game in a row as a Bull along with Dalen Terry making his third straight start.
The first quarter started off hot for the Bulls. Josh Giddey started the game with five rebounds and Matas Buzelis had an ankle-breaking highlight play. The Bulls assisted on eight made baskets out of their 11 made field goals.

The Bulls struggled with fouls all night. Both Bulls' centers, Zach Collins and Jalen Smith, picked up two fouls in the first quarter. The Bulls finished the quarter trailing 35-33 behind Buzelis' eight points.
The second quarter displayed continued sloppiness from the Bulls, as the Magic shot 11 free throws in the frame. Due to Collins picking up his third foul early, the Bulls had to go small for a majority of the second quarter.
However, due to poor shooting from the Magic, the Bulls outscored the Magic 36-31, and went into halftime leading 69-66. Coby White had 16 points, Buzelis had 11, and Giddey had 10. Paolo Banchero led the way for the Magic with 15 and Kentavious Caldwell Pope had 12 of his own at the break.

The Bulls came out cold in the third quarter, shooting 47% from the field and 33% from beyond the arc. Orlando came out firing, assisting on 10 of their 13 made field goal attempts. Coby White scored 11 points in the frame, but the Bulls trailed going into the fourth, 101-96.

The Bulls' guards came out hot to finish out the game. After Zach Collins fouled out, and Jalen Smith fouled out and received two technical fouls for arguing with a Magic fan, the Bulls went small with Buzelis and Julian Phillips as the front court to finish the game.
Tre Jones and Coby White combined for 27 of the Bulls 29 total points in the fourth quarter. Jones displayed great defense to close out the game and Coby White was clutch with the ball in his hand.
The Bulls chipped away, starting with a poster dunk from White rising up on Banchero. That lead to White scoring nine straight points to close out the game, including a tough and-1 that sparked the Bulls.

With a layup to go up 125-123 and cap off Coby Whites 9-0 run, the Magic went cold to end the game. Banchero missed a three-pointer with 2.5 seconds left and former Bull Wendell Carter Jr's put-back dunk was too late.
The Bulls beat the Magic 125-123 by way of Coby White's career-high 44 points. Josh Giddey was one assist away from a triple-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds, and Tre Jones scored 20 while playing great defense down the stretch. Cole Anthony and Banchero scored 20 a piece and Franz Wagner scored a very inefficient 18 points.
