Draymond Green Goes Viral For A Heated Encounter With A Heckler At The Club

Warriors star Draymond Green is widely known as one of the NBA's best trash-talkers, and his antics can sometimes even extend beyond the borders of the court. This week, Green went viral for his latest encounter: against a Knicks fan at the club, who asked him how he was enjoying his early vacation.

Knicks fan: "Hey Draymond, how was Cancun?"

Draymond Green: "Can you afford to go?"

Knicks have been on edge all week as their team fights to avoid elimination against Indiana. After losing Game 2 on Friday, the situation became dire for New York, and the fans have been feeling the heat ever since. In this case, it seems one particularly brave Knicks fan decided to take his anger out on Draymond by giving him trash talk right to his face.

The footage was seemingly captured last night, likely somewhere in New York City, after Green was finished calling the Eastern Conference Finals (with the NBA's TNT crew). Green told his co-hosts that he would not be joining them in Indiana, and it seems he had already made plans to make himself busy that night.

We don't know what started the engagement with the fan, or how late into the night the scene took place, but Draymond looked completely unfazed as he was passing by. He even had a nice comeback prepared, seemingly ready to make the heckler look foolish on camera.

As the situation developed, one of Dray's security guards can be seen approaching the fan, getting in his face in an attempt to silence the critic, but he just kept shouting until Grene eventually walked away. Knicks fans are known to be notoriously rowdy, and it's no surprise that one of them spoke up when they saw the opportunity to troll one of the NBA's most controversial players.

While the Knicks are down 0-2 to the Indiana Pacers, they are still in the postseason with a chance to win it all. That's more than can be said for the Warriors right now, who lost in the second round to Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves

As a 4x NBA champion, Draymond's resume is impressive enough, but it's no secret that he has ambitions to make another title run with Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler. So far, he's failed in that quest, but after signing Jimmy to an extension this summer, the Warriors believe they'll be in the mix for the next few years to come.

The Knicks have similar expectations for their own future, but their focus is on their current series, which is going in the wrong direction. After dropping their first two games at home, New York faces the daunting task of winning two games on the road to take back control of the series and save their season.

Whether they win or lose, Draymond Green will be watching, but you can bet he'll also be hard at work preparing for the next campaign. As a 12-year veteran and 4x champion, Green knows what it takes to win at the highest levels, and he's not going to let home random fan get in his head and disrupt the process.
