The NBA 2K25 update allowed WNBA and NBA players to play together on the same team in a game. While this wild imagination received mixed reactions from fans, there was demand for multiple crossover games, such as the three-pointer contest held at the All-Star event.

In a recent podcast video, though, Jeff Teague came up with a bold claim about destroying the WNBA players if he had played in the league.

“I’d have Wilt numbers… I’m playing the whole game…. No disrespect to them but I’m 215, bro. A’ja Wilson probably weigh 200, s--- I doubt that she probably weigh about 170. A’ja getting 46 and this is no disrespect you are cold. They can’t check her, they damn sure can’t check me. 100 ball. I don’t give a f--- who out there, Cheryl Miller, you can bring ’em all up. I’m getting a 100,” Jeff Teague said (video here; warning: viewer discretion advised).

The former Hawks star retired in 2021 and is now coaching his high school team, Pike High School in Indianapolis. He has already made many bold claims about NBA and WNBA players, including a challenge to Jaylen Brown.

His reference to A’ja Wilson came with a little background, as the Aces megastar had belittled a few NBA stars.

WNBA Players Have Lately Challenged Multiple NBA Stars

In recent interviews, Paige Bueckers opened up on Stephen Curry being her on-court inspiration, while Caitlin Clark also acknowledged the greatness of players like Nikola Jokic, LeBron James, and Luka Doncic.

But a few stars do challenge NBA stars on the heat of the moment, like A’ja Wilson, who would beat Josh Hart 11-8 in a 1v1 contest.

Brittney Griner is not behind, and she also made a bold claim on a former NBA All-Star, DeMarcus Cousins. She claimed that she would beat the former Warriors star in a one-on-one. In response to her comments, Boogie acknowledged her competitive drive and talent, while playfully implying he would easily dominate the matchup.

While these are hypothetical scenarios in which players put forward their views and points, they must not disrespect other players’ abilities and achievements.
