Lakers Injury Report: Latest On Gabe Vincent Ahead Of In-Season Tournament Vs Pelicans
Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Ahead of a semi-finals matchup tonight for the NBA in-season tournament, it appears the Lakers will once again be without a key acquisition from this past offseason.

Today it was reported by Jovan Buha of The Athletic, that fifth-year veteran point guard Gabe Vincent will miss tonight's game against the New Orleans Pelicans due to a left knee effusion.

Buha also reported that Anthony Davis and Jarred Vanderbilt are probable for tonight and LeBron James remains questionable due to a left calf contusion he suffered against the Portland Trail Blazers

For Vincent, this will be his 19th straight game out as he has not played since Oct. 30, against the Orlando Magic.

After being a key part of the Miami Heat's roster during their playoff run last season, Vincent and the Lakers agreed to a three-year deal for $33 million.

Coming into this season, the expectations for Vincent in the Lakers rotation were high after coming off a playoff performance averaging 12.7 points per game.

However, due to the nagging knee injury, he has played in just four games for the Lakers and has averaged just six points per game with 12 assists on the year and six steals.
