LaVar Ball is back on his feet. The Big Baller Brand patriarch showed off his new prosthetic leg in a pair of Instagram videos this week, about seven months after part of his right leg was amputated because of a diabetes-related infection.

“Big Baller’s back, baby. Yes indeed,” he said while strutting in front of a Rolls-Royce.

In another clip, he left a clinic with the prosthetic in place and added, “I didn’t think I was gonna be moving this fast,” before hopping into an SUV.

Ball, 57, went through several surgeries and blood transfusions during the ordeal. In a March essay for SLAM, he admitted there were times he thought about giving up.

But he says the support of his sons pushed him through.

“I’m the Big Baller. I’m hard to kill. But I must admit that my boys kept me rolling,” he wrote.

He added in the piece for SLAM that the loss of his limb could’ve been prevented.

“Get your checkups,” he wrote. “Do what you’re supposed to do. If you don’t have insurance, go to urgent care. Because I’m going to tell you this, a little amputation and a little of this, it could all have been prevented.

The Ball family continues to make news on the basketball front.

Lonzo Ball returned for 35 games with the Bulls last season before being traded to the Cavaliers in July. LaMelo Ball averaged a career-high 25.2 points for the Hornets. LiAngelo Ball never stuck in the NBA but has gained traction in music, releasing a rap track called “Tweaker.”
