Nuggets All-Star center Nikola Jokic tests positive for COVID-19

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic has become the latest NBA star to test positive for the coronavirus.

On Tuesday, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski confirmed the two-time All-Star tested positive while in Serbia but is asymptomatic. Jokic may be cleared to travel to Denver next week.

Jokic and other players are set to complete brief in-market training sessions before traveling to Orlando, Fla., on or around July 7, where those involved in the 22-team format will quarantine, live and play through the remainder of their campaigns.

The NBA scheduled the restart of the season for July 30

The 25-year-old, who is the best passing big man in the game today, was averaging 20.2 PPG, 10.2 REB and 6.9 AST when the league halted play on March 11 after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for the coronavirus.
