Phoenix Suns heating up the power rankings

The Phoenix Suns are red-hot, climbing in NBA Insiders’ latest rankings. After a rough start to the season, they’ve managed to turn things around and are in the midst of an impressive comeback. Following a losing streak that dated back to their last winning in October and November, the Suns are back on track as they prepare to face the Boston Celtics in Phoenix on Wednesday, March 26, at 10 p.m. EDT.

This is a crucial game for Phoenix, as it will either continue the Suns’ six-game home winning streak or set them back. ESPN’s Dave McMenamin highlighted the challenge ahead, stating in NBA Insiders:

“Before getting too excited about Phoenix’s rise, consider the next eight games on the schedule: two against Boston, plus Oklahoma City, Houston, Minnesota, New York, Golden State, and Milwaukee again.”

Phoenix has leaned heavily on top performers such as Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Jayson Tatum, and Derrick White. Despite injuries to key players like Bradley Beal, this solid rotation has helped push the Suns back up to No. 17 in the power rankings an impressive hot comeback considering how they struggled earlier in the season.

Currently, the Suns hold the 10th seed in the Western Conference with a 35-37 record. Based on Monday night’s game against Milwaukee, there is a fiery energy in Booker and Durant’s play as they carry this momentum forward. Tonight’s game is shaping up to be a toe-to-toe battle, with Phoenix bringing the heat against the Celtics in what should be a thrilling matchup.
