The Philadelphia 76ers have not made the start to the season that they would have been hoping for. Declared Championship contenders after what looked like an excellent offseason, the Sixers are 2-9 and sit second-last in a Eastern Conference table where only three teams do not have a losing record right now.
There have been some positive signs recently as well. Both Paul George and Joel Embiid are back from injury. Hopefully, it will not be long before Tyrese Maxey returns to the court.
Jared McCain's performances have been excellent as well and he has to be in the Rookie of the Year conversations already.
Clearly, the 76ers need to show a lot of improvement over the coming months but there is cause for cautious optimism moving forward.
Amid all this, the Sixers have revealed their City Edition uniform for the 2024-25 season. They posted the photos on X:

The reception to the jersey was positive from the majority of the fans. Of course, there were also quite a few who took the opportunity to let their dissatisfaction be known about how the season has unfolded so far.
It is an excellent uniform. Now, the Sixers need to turn their season around on the court. Of course, that is easier said than done but they certainly have the ingredients to do that.
The positive thing is that they are not a million miles away and a lot of teams in the East have underperformed at the start of the season.
As a result, the 76ers, despite their horrible start to the season, are just three wins behind the fourth-placed New York Knicks.
