It's only been two years since Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade retired from the NBA, but basketball fans may not have to wait too much longer until another member of the Wade family makes an appearance in the Association.
Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, Dwyane's son, Zaire, is signing with the G League affiliate of the Utah Jazz.
Zaire Wade, the son of Dwyane Wade, is signing a contract in the NBA G League and is expected to join the Utah Jazz’s affiliate Salt Lake City Stars, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Dwyane Wade is a part-owner of the Jazz.

Zaire is 19 years old and played high school basketball at both Sierra Canyon School in the Los Angeles, Calif., area and Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, N.H. The 6-foot-3 combo guard had previously received college offers from the University of Rhode Island, the University of South Carolina, the University of Toledo and DePaul University, according to 247sports.com.
The Stars are set to open up their season on the road against the Oklahoma City Blue on Nov. 5. The team will have their first home game since March 2020 on Nov. 17 against the Santa Cruz Warriors.
