The Golden State Warriors have demonstrated resilience and determination throughout the 2024-2025 NBA season.
With a current record of 46-31, they hold the No. 5 position in the Western Conference, showcasing their competitiveness in a challenging field.
In a recent game against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Warriors secured a 123-116 victory at Crypto.com Arena.
Stephen Curry led the team with an impressive 37 points and six assists, while rookie Brandin Podziemski contributed a career-high 28 points, including eight three-pointers.
LeBron James delivered a strong performance for the Lakers, scoring 33 points. Recently, he surpassed the 11,000 points mark as a Laker.
Amid discussions about the NBA playoffs, ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith shared his perspective on the potential impact of deep playoff runs by LeBron James and Stephen Curry.
On a recent episode of “First Take,” Smith expressed his belief that LeBron making a deep playoff run would be more beneficial for the NBA than a similar run by Curry.
“This is very hard, super hard, but I will say LeBron James because of his age. It's a difficult decision,” Smith said.
"He is 40; he is in his twenty-second season, even though his game doesn't provide that indication. You never know when Father Time will be creeping. I think because he is older, because we are looking at a Lakers team," Smith explained.
