Ty Jerome is expected to leave the Cleveland Cavaliers for the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Marc Stein and Jake Fischer of The Stein Line.
The Cavaliers acquired Lonzo Ball from the Chicago Bulls, basically putting an end to the Jerome era in Cleveland.
“There was a growing anticipation as 6 PM ET approached that Memphis is indeed poised to secure a commitment from the in-demand Ty Jerome, Stein and Fischer wrote.
Jerome averaged 12.5 points for the Cavaliers last season while shooting 51.6% from the field, 43.9% from beyond the arc and 87.2% from the foul line. He made $2.6 million.
Jerome has played for the Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors and Cavaliers. He has career averages of 8.7 points.
