Basketball never stops for Golden State Warriors star guard-forward Jimmy Butler. The NBA’s official X (formerly Twitter) account recently shared a video of the six-time All-Star shooting hoops in France against an incredible backdrop.
Butler is still recovering from a torn ACL injury he suffered during a Warriors game in January that ended his season, but he is now seemingly healthy enough to at least shoot hoops across the pond.

That video has drawn plenty of attention from fans, who have also left comments on Butler doing some light work in France.
“Empty gym in july doesnt mean he gets buckets when it matters,” a fan said.
“What building is that behind? Looks sick,” a social media user on X shared.
“Jimmy Butler proving it doesn’t matter where the hoop is France got a taste of the buckets ,” another one commented.
“The fact that he’s still putting up big numbers in France is just peak Jimmy Butler energy. He never lets a location change his mind about scoring,” a different fan said.
“Hoopers know—location doesn’t matter when your game is that smooth,” another comment read.
Butler landed in Golden State via a complicated five-team trade just before the February 2025 deadline, involving the Detroit Pistons, Miami Heat, Utah Jazz and Toronto Raptors. In 68 games played in Warriors colors, the former Marquette Golden Eagles star Butler has averaged 19.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.3 assists, while shooting 50.1 percent from the field.
Butler has one more year left on his current contract, which will pay him north of $56.8 million in the 2026-27 NBA campaign.
