Luka Doncic's latest victim was none other than Zion Williamson. Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

New Orleans Pelicans star rookie Zion Williamson is currently in the midst of a brutally difficult week that started with him going up against LeBron James.

As we saw with the King this past weekend, Williamson is also getting a rude awakening.

This time, it came against Dallas Mavericks star sophomore Luka Doncic. Early in the Pelicans’ game against Dallas Wednesday, Williamson fell victim to Doncic in a big way.

The level of difficulty is just wild. It’s not like Mt. Zion is a small man out there. We’d also be ignorant to ignore just how disrespectful this step-back three was.

We already know that Doncic has made opponents look silly at times this season. Usually on the other end of highlight-reel plays, Williamson found that out big time in Big D Wednesday night.
