This weekend, Aaron Rodgers appeared in a live version of the YNK podcast [Ya Neva Know:You Know What I Mean?] hosted by Mike. The host, who was formerly known as Mike Stud, is a musician whose popular lifestyle podcast has generated more than 100 million views on YouTube.

In a question and answer session recorded in Austin, Aaron and Mike fielded many questions from fans. After jokingly being asked if he would consider playing in Chicago, Rodgers more seriously hinted at joining a team who may be playing in the Windy City this fall.

Most NFL fans would interpret Rodgers’ answer as further indication of signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers. After all, the team will travel to play the Bears on November 23rd. However, in looking over the upcoming Saints’ schedule, New Orleans also is set to visit Soldier Field to take on the Bears on October 19th.

While the organization may feel comfortable with rookie Tyler Shough or second-year signal caller Spencer Rattler under center this season, there is certainly a reasonable argument to be made for having a veteran quarterback like Rodgers on the roster. That said, whether or not the Saints are even interested, the future Hall of Famer made it abundantly clear that he is not interested.

After a fan asked Rodgers if he would consider joining the Saints, Aaron replied, “No! That’s the answer. [laughing with Mike] I’ve played there a couple of times but no. The answer is no. I’m too old to live in Louisiana. Sorry.”
