All-Pro TE Mark Andrews says he has 'a lot left to do' for Ravens

Baltimore Ravens' Mark Andrews is still one of the best tight ends in the NFL. He proved it once again last season, as the three-time Pro-Bowler hauled in a career-high 11 touchdown passes, appearing in all 17 of the Ravens' regular-season games and both playoff matchups.

On Wednesday, Andrews told The Athletic's Jeff Zreblec that he's in a good place both mentally and physically. With training camp only a couple of weeks away, that is certainly encouraging to hear from a player who has fought through multiple nagging injuries over his career.

With another talented, younger tight end on the Ravens roster in Isaiah Likely, Andrews was also the subject of multiple trade rumblings throughout this offseason.

That hasn't deterred the 29-year-old, saying, "I'm not done yet. I've got a lot left to do for the Baltimore Ravens."

It's worth noting that Andrews is entering the final year of his current contract with the franchise.

After another disappointing exit in the divisional round this past season's playoffs, one in which Andrews dropped a would-be two-point conversion in a 27-25 loss to the Buffalo Bills, the Ravens and their fans should be encouraged by the committed attitude. He's always had the support of his head coach, John Harbaugh, too.

"Mark Andrews is one of the very best football players," Harbaugh said in January, "one of the most committed football players."

Andrews is just 36 receptions away from becoming the Ravens' all-time leading receiver, and he showed the ability to coexist with Likely last year, forming a dynamic duo for quarterback Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore offense. Andrews finished with 55 grabs for 673 yards while Likely wrapped up the 2024 season with 42 for 477.

"I do fully expect him (Andrews) to be playing for us next year. He's just too good a player," Harbaugh said back in March

It appears that the Ravens' head coach was right all along.
