For the majority of the Cleveland Browns’ Week 8 battle against the Seahawks, QB P.J. Walker was — once again — doing just enough to lead the Browns to a potential victory.

It’s never been pretty this season for Walker, who was making his second start of the year for the injured Deshaun Watson, and it wasn't pretty again for parts of Sunday afternoon, but the Browns were clinging to a three-point lead as the two-minute warning neared. Walker deserved credit for building it with a passing touchdown in the first quarter, his first ever with the Browns.

Then, an errant pass unraveled everything.

Walker was intercepted for the second time in the game with 1:57 to play on a third-down pass that was deflected and fell into the hands of safety Julian Love. A conversion by the Browns would’ve likely sealed the win, but instead the Seahawks had the ball at their own 43 with 1:57 to play.

That was plenty of time for them to change the game.

Smith connected on three straight completions to move deeper into Browns territory and then dealt the knockout blow with a 9-yard touchdown to rookie WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, putting the Seahawks ahead with a 24-20 lead.

The Browns were unable to overcome the mistake, failing to advance the ball when they got it back with 38 seconds left.

The interception and the loss clouded another solid outing from the Browns defense, which had shut the Seahawks out until the game-winning touchdown after allowing them to score 17 points in a rough first quarter. Walker and the Browns initially capitalized on those efforts with two touchdowns and a pair of field goals to take the lead.

But one bad pass changed everything and handed the Browns their third loss of the season.
