The New England Patriots won six Super Bowls in 18 seasons.

That’s an impressive average of a championship for every three seasons.

However, their titles came both early and late into Tom Brady‘s career.

Their first three Vince Lombardi trophies happened during the 2001, 2003, and 2004 seasons.

The next three ended their 2014, 2016, and 2018 campaigns.

But the most memorable of those titles must be Super Bowl LI which occurred at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on February 5, 2017.

It marks the largest deficit overhauled to win the Super Bowl, with its numbers coinciding to March 28.

It seems like Patriots fans will celebrate this day until the end of time, especially until they win another Super Bowl.

As it stands, New England is building a contender around quarterback Mac Jones and they made the playoffs last season.

However, the division rival Buffalo Bills dominated them in their Wild Card encounter.

The Patriots have the pieces to make a postseason return.

But winning their seventh Super Bowl might take more time because they have to address roster concerns at wide receiver and the defensive secondary.

Reliving Super Bowl LI

By the time the Atlanta Falcons held a 25-point lead, they had a 99.8 percent chance of winning their first-ever Super Bowl.

Yet as always, it’s difficult to bet against Brady.

The Patriots started their comeback with a five-yard touchdown pass from Brady to James White, but Stephen Gostkowski missed the point-after.

The kicker bounced back by converting a field goal in the fourth quarter.

New England forced overtime by scoring two touchdowns and a couple of two-point conversions.

During the extra period, the Patriots claimed their fifth Super Bowl with a two-yard touchdown run by White to end the game at 34-28.

Since that game, the Patriots won one more Super Bowl while the Falcons unraveled by missing the playoffs over the last four seasons.
