Jaylen Warren was a massive catalyst for the Pittsburgh Steelers in their 26-22 win over the Cleveland Browns in the Monday Night Football at Acrisure Stadium, touching the ball 10 times for 86 total yards - almost exactly one-third of the team's total yards.

Warren took 23 snaps, trailing starter Najee Harris' 30 plays against the Browns, but that could change as the Steelers look for ways to kickstart a struggling offense.

"He's a guy who did similar things as a rookie a year ago and done some really good things in the team development process," Tomlin said. "So it's probably a natural maturation process for it to transpire in stadium and it's probably a natural maturation process for us to give [Warren] more opportunities for it to transpire in a stadium."

Tomlin said they still plan to keep Harris in as a major part of the offensive gameplan moving forward, but will likely not dominate the share of carries as much as he has in the past. Tomlin said the running game "hasn't been what we desired" so far this season and the Steelers will make determinations on snap counts based on who fits what they want to do against the Raiders this week.

"We'll see what this week holds for us in terms of our planning," Tomlin said. "We acknowledge that Jaylen is a significant player and is capable of being a significant component of what we do - as is Najee. As we do every week, we'll divvy up the labor based on what's most advantageous in an effort to create victory this week."
