Chicago Tribune reporter Brad Biggs reports that Chicago Bears offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo is inactive for Sunday’s Week 2 home opener against the Minnesota Vikings at Soldier Field.
Trapilo practiced fully on Friday and carried no final injury designation earlier in the week, yet he will sit again while recovering from a patellar tendon injury. He was also inactive in Week 1 against the Carolina Panthers.
Braxton Jones has been starting at left tackle in Trapilo’s absence. Other beat notes indicate that Darnell Wright and Xavier Woods are among those active for Sunday.
The Bears’ inactive list also includes third-string quarterback Case Keenum, defensive end Jamree Kromah, defensive tackle Jayden Loving, and offensive lineman Jordan McFadden. Trapilo will not dress against the Vikings.
