The Chicago Bears are already without starting quarterback Caleb Williams for some time.
Now, they might also be without their backup, Tyson Bagent, for the Week 3 game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.
Bagent is now in the concussion protocol, which means veteran Case Keenum would be in line to start if Bagent can’t go.

Williams was carted off the field after a concerning non-contact injury in Week 2 . However, he avoided a long-term injury, with Ben Johnson even saying the QB is “week-to-week.”
Still, it is highly unlikely that Williams would go for Week 3, and now there are major questions about whether or not Bagent will be available.
Bagent went just 5-of-9 for 54 yards after Williams left, and the Minnesota Vikings won the game, 9-3, in Chicago.
Keenum hasn’t appeared in a regular-season game since December 2023, so it wouldn’t be great for him to get his first action against the 2-0 Eagles.
The only other option, at least for now, is Miller Moss, and the former USC and Louisville QB is on the practice squad.
