Bengals Joe Burrow Stands Alone in Impressive Stat

The Cincinnati Bengals have one of the best quarterbacks in the entire NFL in Joe Burrow, and there is nobody else in the league that is quite like him.

In a recent post on X made by Trey Wingo, he draws attention to a very interesting statistic. Since the start of the 2022 regular season, there is only one player with 90 or more passing touchdowns and less than 30 interceptions, and that player is Burrow.

More specifically, in that three-year span, the 28-year-old quarterback has thrown 93 touchdowns and just 27 picks.

The Bengals have missed the playoffs each of the last two seasons, but it has not been because Burrow is playing poorly. Because he has been one of the best field generals in the entire NFL, especially this past season.

In 2024, the former LSU star racked up 4,918 passing yards and 43 touchdowns, both of which led the NFL. He also led the league in yards per game at just over 289, and he did so on a very impressive completion percentage of 70.6.

He has also won NFL Comeback Player of the Year twice in his career after coming back from injuries that kept him off the field. While this can be viewed as him getting injured a bit too much, it can also be seen as he never gives up and always finds a way back to the top of his position.

Burrow will be looking to lead the Bengals back to the playoffs for the first time since 2022 this season, and he will undoubtedly add to his already impressive resume on the way.
